Important Notice
Please read the attached notice BEFORE you pick your child up from school today. Thank you. A copy will also come home with your child today.
Book Bags
Book bags are coming home today! Please remember to practice the contents of the bag EVERY NIGHT and return it to school EVERY DAY! It is very important that you and your child take very good care of the contents of the bag. Sometimes the bag will have a dry erase marker in it. Please make sure the cover is on correctly when your child is done practicing. When we send home books to practice, please keep the books away from younger siblings that may rip or bend the book.
FIRST Field trip
Our first field trip is in 3 weeks! Information will be going home soon. If you plan on volunteering, please make sure you stop by the office to fill out a volunteer form. If you do not turn your paperwork in, you will NOT be able to attend the field trip. Please read the attached note on chaperone responsibilities.
Handwriting Homework

Your child has been writing daily in the classroom. We practice writing during writer’s workshop (drawing and labeling the picture) and practicing letter formation. Please practice writing your child’s name with them over the weekend. Their name should start with a capital letter and continue with lower case letters.
Example: Sarah (NOT SARAH)
