SeeSaw Book Review Example

SeeSaw Book Retelling (5 finger style) 1. setting 2. characters. 3. What happened at the beginning? 4. middle? 5. end?

 

Find a book that you have already read. Take a picture of it. Add either a voice note and/or a caption to say:

  1. The book’s title and author.

2. Whether or not you would recommend the book to other students.

3. What you liked or didn’t like about the book.

***Added Bonus – 4. Make a video of you reading the book aloud. Make sure you aren’t sitting too close to another student to help make sure that you can be heard. If it sounds pretty good, add it to your journal.

Week of April 25

Choosing a Poem Assignment

  1. Choose a poem from a poetry book.
  2. Copy your poem onto paper.
    1. Include your name
    2. the poems name in quotes
    3. the author’s name
    4. the text of the poem

Go to Google Classroom and Find this Assignment – and Open It.

Next, Create a New Google Doc

Type everything from your paper onto the new Google Doc.

Lastly, click “Turn it In”

Choose Browse, Language Arts, POETRY (There are many SONGS included here- did you know that many songs are poems?)

Read at least one book of poems or book about poetry

When you’re done, read anything else on Myon (free choice)
