SeeSaw.Me – your own digital portfolio
Find a book that you have already read. Take a picture of it. Add either a voice note and/or a caption to say:
- The book’s title and author.
2. Whether or not you would recommend the book to other students.
3. What you liked or didn’t like about the book.
***Added Bonus – 4. Make a video of you reading the book aloud. Make sure you aren’t sitting too close to another student to help make sure that you can be heard. If it sounds pretty good, add it to your journal.

Week of April 25
Choosing a Poem Assignment
- Choose a poem from a poetry book.
- Copy your poem onto paper.
- Include your name
- the poems name in quotes
- the author’s name
- the text of the poem
Go to Google Classroom and Find this Assignment – and Open It.
Next, Create a New Google Doc
Type everything from your paper onto the new Google Doc.
Lastly, click “Turn it In”

Go to Myon.com and search for Poetry either by:
Search box OR
Choose Browse, Language Arts, POETRY (There are many SONGS included here- did you know that many songs are poems?)
Read at least one book of poems or book about poetry
When you’re done, read anything else on Myon (free choice)

Read up book(s) of your choice on Myon.com today! At Snow School – remember that there is a March is Reading Month reading contest going on! Have you met your 20 minutes a day goal?
Also, go to Google Classroom and answer my question about what book or books you are reading today in Myon.
Another free time idea – read stories at the Michigan Electronic Library  (www.mel.org) then click on “kids” and “storytime” or click on my link here Storytime

Read up book(s) of your choice on Myon.com today! At Snow School – remember that there is a March is Reading Month reading contest going on! Have you met your 20 minutes a day goal?
Also, go to Google Classroom and look up what books you have checked out in the school library catalog.
Log in to the Destiny Library Catalog to see what items you have checked out. Use your 200 number as BOTH your name and password in Destiny.
You will try to write down what books you have and even the due date, before clicking “Turn it In”.
