Also due on Monday- Genre Crossword- this is another great review for the test…. most finished this in class- complete whatever was not done at home.

Today we reviewed using our Genre Study Guide. Students had the opportunity to revise answers so they have the correct information to prepare for the test.
Students now have a complete study guide, blog games, and flashcards to help them study for MONDAY. Monday 10-7-19 is our Genre Test date.
Due tomorrow: GENRE Study Guide. All you have to do is TRY! Complete all four pages and receive full credit before we even check! Incomplete Study Guides will not be accepted for credit.

Today we worked on Genre CER writing with partners. We also used Book Fair Flyers and Book Order forms to sort real life examples of Genre. Students also worked with partners using inference skills to read text samples and distinguish between text excerpts (Genre Number Match Activity)
Homework due tomorrow- if you did not finish the Genre Number Match- please finish this activity tonight at home by yourself. We will be checking this in class tomorrow.
