Welcome Ms. Hussein!

We are fortunate to have Ms. Ahlam Hussein, a student teacher from Eastern Michigan University, with us for the next 15 weeks. She wanted to introduce herself to all of you…

Hello 7 th graders! Now that I have met all of you, I wanted to tell you about

myself in a couple paragraphs. I go to school at Eastern Michigan University and

study two subjects: general language arts and special education. For those of

you that are wondering, special education is for students who have different or

extra needs in school. You have at least one special education teacher here at

Stout! “Student Teaching” is the final phase of my college teaching program-you

can think of it as my final test.

Like many of you, I was born and raised in Dearborn. I have lived in Ann

Arbor for a bit to be closer to school, but have moved back home in August of

last year.

During the upcoming weeks, I will be helping Mrs. Wiacek more by

teaching full lessons some days; you will here more of my voice! I hope to make

the most of this experience with Mrs. Wiacek and all of you and I am so happy to

be apart of her class. I am always available and eager to answer your questions

during class time so please do not hesitate to ask me.

My Favorite Texts:

Persepolis

The Outsiders

I am Malala

The Round House

Twilight Series

autobiographies

short stories
