Share the WONDER

Today, just under 75% of our students attended a field trip to the theatre to see the new movie WONDER! In class, prior to leaving and after returning, students CIRCLED IT UP to discuss the issues of bullying, social isolation, and displaying empathy.

We will continue building upon these lessons in future Advisory meetings. Students and staff will also be asked to look for the good that happens at Stout on a daily basis. Classrooms have forms so that students and staff can submit the examples of kindness and empathy; these will be displayed on a bulletin board.

As Mr. Tushman encourages the students in WONDER, we too should “practice more kindness than we need to”.
