Halloween Party Tuesday, October 31st

River Oaks will be hosting their annual Halloween party Tuesday, October 31st.  The parade of costumes will begin promptly at 2:15 pm.  We ask you to join us during this time.  After the parade students will head back to their classroom to pass out treats that they may bring for all students in the classroom (25 students total).  Students will also play Halloween bingo.  Students will change into costumes at school before the parade, therefore students need to be able to get themselves dressed for the occasion.  River Oaks policy is that their are no weapons or masks being brought to school.

Dearborn Fire Safety Field Trip

Mrs. Wetter’s class will be attending the Dearborn Fire Safety field trip on Monday, November 13 from 9:30am-11:30am.  Please carefully read over field trip form and sign and return no later than Monday, October 30th.  We looking for four chaperones to attend as well.  Thank you!

Parents Bring your Young Child to School!

 

River Oaks Elementary is hosting Parent University meetings for children

ages 6 months to 4 years old.

 

Parents and children will gather together this week for hands on games, activities, and fun,

learning  projects that you can repeat with your child at home.

 

Weekly Topic: Literacy

 

Date: Friday, October 20th

from 9:00-10:00 am in the River Oaks school cafeteria.
