Next week we will be exploring the metric system in math.  We are in need of a few supplies.  If you are able to donate it would be greatly appreciated!

bag of rice

bag of beans

bag of popcorn kernals

empty 2 liter bottles

12 clear plastic cups

Assessments

Students will take the math assessment Monday, October 8th.  Study guides will go home today, Friday October 5th.

 

Social Studies Assessment will be Wednesday, October 10th.  Students will study in class as well as use their notebooks as a study guide.

Due to an unforeseen illness all test will be delayed. I hope to be back tomorrow if feeling well. Math test will be Friday and study guide will come home tomorrow. Social studies test will be Tuesday. Thank you greatly for your understanding.

Math and Social Studies Assessments will be week of October 1-5

Math-Study guide will be sent home Wednesday, October 3rd and test will be Thursday, October 4th.

Social Studies–Students will not be given a study guide, they are to use their social studies notebooks to study.  Test will be Friday, October 5th.

Parent Talk Sessions with Margaret King Ahmed

Increase achievement and decrease discipline issues with effective Parent Talk . Learn communication skills that empower, encourage self-motivation and character development. Learn practical skills to positively effect the social and emotional development of your children and family.

Parent Talk Sessions will be on Wednesdays in the Art Room, from 9:00 – 10:30.

Classes will be October 10,17,24,31. November 7, 14, 28. December 5, 12.
