Dear Families,
We want to thank you for your participation and taking over as teachers during this unprecedented time. We hope that you have embraced these months as a family. We truly have missed our students and can not wait to see everyone again!
As a reminder, all assignments are due Sunday, June 7th. Please also remember to check the blogs of ALL special teachers, as participation grades will be given in those areas as well.
For the week of June 8th, students will be able to catch up on any work they need to, however, grades will NOT be reflective of anything turned in after June 7th.
Below are some resources for summer learning to prevent summer slide:
Language Arts/Writing:
- RAZ kids- listen, read and do quizzes daily for 20-30 mins
- Common Core Book- a few pages a day
- Writing- write a daily journal of what they did, create stories or a research report
- IXL- work on skills from 3rd grade or below, based on your child’s need
Math:
- Use Eureka Math Workbooks- Have your child do one lesson each from SUCCEED & PRACTICE. Also, any unfinished lessons from LEARN.
- Continue working on Multiplication Facts- Use skip counting videos found on Google Classroom.
- IXL- work on skills from 3rd grade or below, based on your child’s need
We wish you all a safe and healthy summer. Keep reading everyday! We hope to see everyone soon!
Sincerely,
Third Grade Teachers 🙂
