🖤Grading for Marking Period 4🖤

Hello Families!

I hope you are all doing well and in perfect health! I miss everyone and it saddens me to not have these last few weeks with the children. 🙁 I am so proud of you and all your efforts at home to keep educating your child and working together on weekly assignments! I’m sharing how the grading will look and how it will be calculated for this card marking.

image.png

*We will be using LP, M, and P to mark the grades. Here is an example of how a student would receive a specific grade.

~Student sent daily/weekly picture of all completed blog assignments and spelling test AND daily online participation = M

~Student spent some time online and sent some pictures of completed work but not ALL = P

~Student had little to no online participation or evidence of work completed at home = LP

So, instead of the usual 1,2,3, and 4 marks, you will see the letters based on what I have been receiving from you!

The report card will show grades of 1,2,3,4 for Marking Period 1, 2 and 3 but for Marking Period 4, it should only display the new grades of M,P,LP as in the following example:

I am truly grateful for the efforts you have given at home during this time! I may recruit some of you parents to assist me next year! 🙂 You know who you are 🙂 You’ve gone above and beyond and it is evident in your child’s progress! I could not have done my job without your support at home! Keep up the good work, only a couple weeks to go! All my love, Miss Wentland
