Writing

  1. Practice writing sight words and spelling words in a sentence.
  2. Read a book and answer a few questions using complete sentences:
  • Did you like the book? Why or why not?
  • Did you find anything funny in the story? Why was it funny?
  • Who were the characters? Who was the main character? Tell me about them.
  • What was the setting of the book? Was there more than one? Could the story have happened in a different setting? If yes, where; if no, why not?
  • What did the story make you think about?
  • Why do you think the author wrote the book?

Please keep all their work together in a notebook or on paper and put in their folder for when we return to school.
