We have truly enjoyed having your child in our Preschool classroom. We have made a slide show of some of the activities we have done throughout the year. We have enjoyed so much together and we hope you and your child continue to enjoy their educational experiences.

Letter Review: Musical Alphabet Game

Make alphabet cards for each letter A to Z.  Place the cards on the floor in a circle.  Have your child walk around the circle while you play music.  Pause the music, have your child stop and tell you the letter card they are standing next to.  Repeat this as many times as you would like.  You can make the cards capitol and lower case letters, numbers, colors, and even shapes.

Remember to keep an eye out for all the letters around you: on food boxes in your kitchen, outside on street signs, in a store, and in books/newspapers/magazines. Practice, practice, practice for Kindergarten.

Writing Activity: Favorite Part of Preschool

In your journal draw a picture of your favorite part of Preschool this school year.  It could be outside time, lunch time, story time, or work time.  Share your drawing and tell someone in your family what you enjoyed the most. I would also love to see your drawing; you can send me a picture of it.

Book: This School Year Was Different

Listen to the book and talk about how this school year was different but also reflect on what you enjoyed about school this year and maybe what you are looking forward to next school year.

We loved this song in school; listen to all the rhymes.

Math Activity: Scavenger Hunt

Have your child go on a Math Scavenger Hunt in your home collecting things off the list below.  Take a picture of your items and send it to me.

FIND:

1 item that is a circle

2 items that are a square

3 items that are the same color

4 items that are the same size

5 items that have numbers on them

Remember to make sure you keep on counting 1-20, and you can say all those numbers when you see them.  Check out the counting song below to help.  Practice, practice, practice for Kindergarten.

Fine Motor Activity: Zipping and Buttoning

Do you remember how to zip your coat?  Make sure you keep practicing zipping your coat and even work on doing buttons to get ready for Kindergarten.

Gross Motor Activity: Celebrate a Great School Year

Get up and move your body to celebrate the end of a great school year!

Creative Activity: End of the Year Survey

A fun way to remember your child’s memories from Preschool age is to write them down.  Print out the survey attached and ask your child the questions, write down their answers, and have them draw a picture of themselves at the bottom.  Keep this survey and share it with them when they graduate in 2033.

اعمل  الا حرف كرت من الألف حتى ال زي . أضع الكرت على الأرض بشكل دايره اجعل ولدك يمشي حول الدا يره ثم انت العب الموسيقى . وقف صوت الموسيقى . اسءل ولدك ما هو الحرف الذي يقف عليه . ثم شغل الموسيقى تقرار عدة مرات وراجع كل الاحرف مع ولدك اعمل الا حرف صغيره وكبيره أشكال ألوان احرف .

عليك نتبه الى كل الأحرف من حولك : الطعام ، صندوق في المطبخ ، في الخارج اعلان ، في المحلات ، او في اي كتاب ، او جريده مجله ، تمرن تمرن تمرن لي صف الاول .

ايضا تقدر ان تشتغل على الا حرف في الاسفل .

أنشطة الكتا به : الحصه المحببة عند صف الحضانه

في الدفتر ارسم شيء كان الأفضل كنت تحب في ها ذا العام الدراسي مثل الخروج الى الملعب او وجبة الغداء قراءة القصه او اللعب في الصف شارك هذه الرسمه مع عاءلتك ثم اخبرهم هذه هي الشغله المفضلة عندك ، ايضا احب ان ارى رسمتك أرسل لي هذه الصوره .

استمع على القصه تحكي عن هذه السنه كا نت مختلفه ثم انضر من الوجه الا خر كيف قضيت أوقات حلوى عن المدرسه في هذه السنه ثم انضر الى الامام لي السنه القا دمه .

أنشطة الحساب : مطاردة الكنز

اجعل ولدك ان يذهب لي مطاردة الكنز في المنزل يجمع هذه الأشياء في الاسفل . التقط صوره لي كل من الأغراض ثم ارسلها الي .

طريقه حلوى لكي تتذكرولدك من ذكريا ت صف الحضانه لي تكتبها .  اطبع السرفا ثم اسءل ولدك الا سءله ،

اكتب الأجوبة ، ان اجعلهم رسم صورتهم في الا سفل ، ثم احطفض في هذه السرفا وشا ركها معهم في سنة ٢.٣٣.

Letter of the Week: Xx, Yy, Zz

Listen to the book about the letter X, Y, Z. Work on writing letters X, Y, Z with pencil and paper; you can look at the attached worksheets for examples or print them out if you’d like. 

Writing Activity: Sorting Boys and Girls

In your journal draw the people in your family, but draw only the girls on one page and only the boys on another page. Make sure you add details in each person like: 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose, 1 mouth, hair, a body, 2 arms/hands, and 2 legs/feet.  You can even try and label the people in your family. See example below.

Book: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Listen to the story and talk about what food Caterpillar ate, and why he had a stomach ache.  The Math Activity below also talks about sorting foods that are healthy and unhealthy for us.

Math Activity: Sort and Compare

Click the link below to watch how to sort and compare objects.  Then use the pictures attached below to sort and compare food.  Ways you can sort and compare foods are by: color, fruit or vegetable, and healthy or unhealthy.  You can even use food from your own kitchen to sort and compare.  See picture below for more ideas.

Fine Motor Activity: Birds eating worms

Cut some string into small pieces, they will look like worms.  Place the pieces of string on the table, then use a clothespin or even tweezers to try and pick up the string or “worms”.  You are the bird eating the worms! You can even time yourself to see how many worms you can pick up in one minute.

Gross Motor Activity: Roller Coaster

Get up and move with this song we enjoyed while in class.

Creative Activity: Eating Healthy     

Have your child help you in the kitchen, make a healthy family recipe or try making something fun as shown in the picture below.  When we include our children in the kitchen they are more likely to eat what you are cooking as well as try new foods.

استمع الى القصه ثم حدث ماذا عن ماذا هذا الحيوان يءكل من الطعام ، ثم لماذا عنده احتكاك في بطنه . أنشطة الحساب في الاسفل تتكلم عن الفرز من الاكل المعني الصحي او غير صحي إلينا .

أنشطة الحسا ب : فرز  ومتشا به

اضغط في الاسفل لترى عملية الفرز والمتشابه . ثم أستعين في الصوره في الاسفل من الفرز والمتشا به من الطعام . لون الطعام الصحي او غير صحي لون حضا ر وفواكه صحيه او غير صحيه ، تقدر ان تستعمل طعام من مطبخ العا ءله للفرز او التشا به . أستعين في الصوره الموجودة في الاسفل .

الانشطه الحركيه : عصفور يأكل الدوده

قص الخيط الى عدة خيطان صغيره ، ليكون الشكل مثل الدوده أضع الخيطان على الطا وله ثم استمل ملقط الثياب لي تلطكت الخيطان او الدود تخيل انت العصفور تأكل العصفور ! عليك ان تراقب الوقت لي ترى كم دقيقه تستغرق .

اقف ثم حرك جسمك مع هذه الاغنيه اولادنا احبو هذه الاغنيه عندما كنا نشارك في الصف .

الانشطه الخلاقيه : تناول الطعام الصحي

اجعل ولدك ان يساعدك في المطبخ ، اصنع طعام صحي احضر المعا بير اجعله شيء مسلي مثل الصوره الموجودة في الاسفل ، عنداما نءذن لي اولادنا المشاركة في المطبخ نجلبهم لحب الطعام الذي نطهيه ايضا اذا كان جديد .

Math Activity: Patterns

Collect 6 white socks and 6 black socks from your house.  Use the socks to make different patterns, see the example below.  Try to point to each sock and say the color of the sock aloud in each pattern you make. 

This is a great song about patterns the kids already know: Banana, Banana, Meatball.

Fine Motor Activity: Washing your Toys     

Collect 20 small toys in your house like plastic animals, cars, legos, or figurines.  Use an old tooth brush, soap, and water to wash all your toys.  Hold the small toy in one hand and hold the toothbrush in your dominate hand.  See how sparkly clean you can get those toys!

Creative Activity: Making Paper Worms

This is a fun activity you can do with your family.  All you need is paper, scissors, a marker and straws.  Watch the video below for instructions.  See if you can get a race going with your family members.

Letter of the Week: Vv

Listen to the book about the letter V. Work on writing letter v with pencil and paper; you can look at the attached worksheets for examples or print them out if you’d like. 

Writing Activity: Weather

Listen to the book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and answer this question: If you could have it rain any kind of food what would it be?  In your journal draw a picture of your food and write the name of it.  Ask everyone in your family what food they would pick to have rain. You can draw pictures for them and label those items too.

Listen to the song and then see if you can sing it with your name. 

For Example: Rain, rain go away.  Come again another day.  Little Candice wants to play.  Rain, rain go away.

Math Activity: #6-10

Write numbers 6-10 on a piece of paper using a pencil, then use a q-tip to write over the numbers.  You can dip your q-tip in paint if you have it or water with food coloring to make the numbers colorful.  If you’d like you can also print off the number counting and matching worksheets below.

Fine Motor Activity: Using Tongs

Get a pair of tongs from your kitchen and see how many small items like blocks, legos, toy animals, or even a food item your child can grab out of a basket and place onto the table.  Remember to use your dominate hand that you write and cut with. 

Gross Motor Activity: Get up and Exercise

Use the dice I gave you in your bag of school supplies.  Roll the die, count the dots, look at the exercise chart below and move your body the way it tells you while counting to 10. 

For Example: I roll a 4, I put my arms out and make circles while I count to 10.   

Try and exercise for 15 minutes and even have your family join in.

Creative Activity: Volcanoes

This is a fun creative experiment you can do at home with materials from your kitchen.  All you need is vinegar, baking soda, and a container.  You can watch the video linked below for more directions. Please feel free to take a video and send it to me!

استمع على القصهالتابعه لهاذا الحرف . اعمل على كتابة هاذا الحرفاستعمل ورقه وقلم رصاص .استعين في الورقه المطبوعة كمثل لكي تساعدك في التما رين  اذا احببت .

كتابة أنشطة  ؛ الطقص

استمع الى هذا القصه من التاب cloudy with a chance of meat balls،ثم اعطي جواب على السوءال اذا كان عنده اي نوع طعام ما ذا يكون ؟ في دفتر الكتابه ارسم صوره لها ذه الطعام واكتب اسمه . ثم اتوجه بالسوءال الى أفراد عا ءتلك اي نوع طعام يخاطرون ليتحول الى مطر . ارسم صوره لهم ثم اكتب الاسم . كمثل هذه الصوره .

أغنية : مطر مطر روح بعيد

ردد الاغنيه ثم حاولا ان تغنيها مع اسمك . مثل ردد مطر مطر اذهب بعيد ارجع في يوم اخر الصغير مس صعب تريد ان تلعب . مطر مطر ابعد .

النشاط في الحساب 6-10

اكتب الرقم من السته الى العشره على ورقه استعمل قلم رصاص ، استعمل قطنة الأذان لي تكتب على الأرقام ، بءمكانك ان تستعمل القطنه في الدهون اذا لديك او الألوان الذي تستعمل في الطعام امزجها مع كمية ميا ه طعتيك ألوان . اذا احببت بءسطتاعتك طبع ورقه متشابه في الا سفل . ايضا هذه مراجعه مسليه من الصفر الى العشره اقرءها ، انطقها، اكتبها ثم استفقد !

النشاط للحركه البدنية: استعمل الملقط

احضر ملقط من المطبخ ثم احضر كمية من  الأشياء الصغيره مثل المكعبات او الحيوانات الصغيره او اي نو طعام ولدك يقدر احضا ره من السلهالموضوعه على الطاوله . اتذكر ان تستعمل اليد الذي تستعملها دايما في الكنا به والقص .

الانشطه الريا ضيه : استعد للحركه البدنية

استعمل الديس الموجود في الكيس التي أعطيتكم إياه من المدرسه . دحرج الديس عدد النقاط ثم انضر الى ورقة الرياضه في الأسفل ثم حرك جسمك حسب الرقم الى العشره . درجه أولى  أضع ذراعك في الخا رج ثم لف وعدالى العشره . حاول ان تتمرن خمسة عشر دقيقه بالمشاركة  مع العا ءله .

الانشطه الخلاقيه : البركان

هذه تجربه خلافيه تقدر ان تستعملها من المنزل أغراض من المطبخ . كل ما تحتاج خل ، كربونيه ، جا ط بلا ستك ، شاهد الفيديو في الأسفل لمزيد من المعلومات ، كن في غا ية الحريه لي اخذ فيديو وارسا لهو اليا اذا كان بالإمكان .!

Letter of the Week: Uu

Writing Activity: Spring Time

In your journal draw a picture of 3 things you see outside your window. It’s can’t be your car!  Examples: a tree, yellow dandelions in the grass, a bird, a squirrel, the sun, or clouds.  This is an opportunity to talk about Spring time and all the changes that have been happening right outside your window.

Listen to the book and talk about how you could do something kind for someone like Mole does for Bear.

Math Activity: Numbers 0-5

Write numbers 1-5 on a piece of paper, then place same number of stickers next to each numeral.  Use the stickers I gave you in your school supply bag.  Practice writing the numbers 0-5 on paper. If you’d like you can also print off the Number Writing worksheet below.

This is a subitizing song that we have done in class.  Check it out, the kids love it!

Fine Motor Activity: Scissors

Use the scissors in your school supply bag to practice cutting lines, shapes, or even straws and playdoh.  You can create a fun creature using you cut straws and playdoh (see picture below). 

Remember to use your dominate hand to hold the scissors with your thumb facing upwards to the ceiling and “open close” like an alligators mouth.  Use our other hand to hold the paper you are cutting.

Gross Motor Activity: Outside Spring Cleaning

Make a list together of 3 things you can clean up together outside your home.  Examples: picking up trash along your fence in your back yard, raking leaves or sticks into a pile, or wash your bike and toys so they are clean for Spring time. If you prefer you can clean together insider your home such as washing the windows.

Creative Activity: Making Flowers

Have everyone in your family draw and color a beautiful flower on paper.  Cut out those flowers.  Then fold the petals inward.  Put a small amount of water in a plate then place the paper flowers on top of the water.  Watch the flowers slowly open up to show their beautiful colors.  It’s Spring time and the flowers are starting to bloom. استمع الى قصه عن هاذا الحرف . اكتب هاذا الحرف علوى دفتر استعمل قلم رصاص ؛اتبع الورقه المطبوعة اذا اردت او أستعين نسخه من الكمبيوتر اذا احببت .

اكتب نشاط ؛لفصل الربيع

على الدفتر التي كنت تستعمله في الصف ارسم ثلاثه أشياء  من الخارج تراها من الشباك . ليست سيا ره ‘قد تكون شجره ، الزهره الصفراء الموجودة على الأعشاب او عصفور او سنجاب ،غيوم ، او شمس ، ثم يكون عندك الفرصه لتتكلم عن كل هذه الا شياء من فصل الربيع والتغيرات التي تراها من وراء الشباك .

كتاب: الربيع هنى

استمع الى القصه ثم أتكلم كيف تسا عد الآخرين في أشياء مثل ها ذا مول كيف ساعد الدب.

اقف ثم أتحرك مع هذه الاغنيه وهي عن فصل الربيع .

نشاط في الحساب الرقم م5-0

اكتب الرقم من الواحد الى الخمسه على ورقه، ثم أضع كل رقم على الستكر  للحرف المتشابه استعمل استعمل ( لستكر الذي أعطيتكم أيها من الصف . تمرن على كتا بة الرقم من الواحد الى الخمسه على ورقه . اذا احببت ان تعمل نسخه من الاسفل بءمكانك اذا اردت .

هذه عباره عن ترسيخ طلابنا يحبونها كثير تمرنا عليها كثير في الصف حا ول ان تجدها اولادنا يحبونها كثير !

اجد الا نشطه الحركيه : مثل المقص

استعمل المقص ثم تمرن على قص الخط المستقيم . اشكا ل او عجينة البليدو او الشلمونه . انضر الى الصوره ثم قص عجينة البلا يدو .

تذكر ان تستعمل يدك اليمني مع الباهم الى الأعلى ثم استعمل كلمة افتح ثم سكر ” مثل فم التمساح . ثم استعمل اليد الأخرى لي حمل الورقه .

الانشطه الحركيه الإجمالية : في لخارج  لي نضافة الربيع

اعمل قاءمه من ثلاثة أشياء في الخا رج  ثم عليك ان تضعها في مكانها في منزلك   اجمع اي من  اي نفايات بجا نب السور في الحديقة ، او اجمع أوراق الشجر ، او اغسل العجله او ألعاب الحديقة ثم تكون جاهز لفصل الربيع .اذا أحببتم  ان  تنضفو داخل المنزل مثل مسح الشباك .

أنشطه خلا قيه: صنع الأزهار

اجعل كل فرد من عا ءتلك رسم ورده او زهره على ورقه ثم لونها. ثم قص هذه الزهره ثم لفها في الداخل . ثم أضع كميه من الماء في صحن ثم أضع الكميه من الرسميات في الصحن على وجه المياه . انضر الى الأزهار بهدوء ثم افتحها ترى ألوان  جميله . انه فصل الربيع الأزهار بدءت تتفتح . انضر الى الفيديو مزيد معلومات.
