Letter of the Week: Ww
Listen to the book about the letter W. Work on writing letter W with pencil and paper; you can look at the attached worksheets for examples or print them out if you’d like.

In your journal draw 3 things that start with W like worms, wheel, or watermelon.

Listen to the song and try to copy her motions.
Math Activity: Patterns
Collect 6 white socks and 6 black socks from your house. Use the socks to make different patterns, see the example below. Try to point to each sock and say the color of the sock aloud in each pattern you make.


This is a great song about patterns the kids already know: Banana, Banana, Meatball.

Fine Motor Activity: Washing your Toys
Collect 20 small toys in your house like plastic animals, cars, legos, or figurines. Use an old tooth brush, soap, and water to wash all your toys. Hold the small toy in one hand and hold the toothbrush in your dominate hand. See how sparkly clean you can get those toys!

Gross Motor Activity: Tooty Ta
Get up and try this song we loved to do in class!
Creative Activity: Making Paper Worms
This is a fun activity you can do with your family. All you need is paper, scissors, a marker and straws. Watch the video below for instructions. See if you can get a race going with your family members.
