Mix-up!

Hi 🙂  There was a mix-up with the sub today.  She sent home a math worksheet that she thought was homework, but the math homework is the worksheet that I sent home yesterday.  They do not need to do the sheet that was sent home today, but they can return it blank if possible.

Sorry!

LAST CALL…

I did not get any forms back for the PTA Halloween Party on this Friday night from 5-7:30.  Tickets are $8 each.  I just wanted to send a last reminder.  If you wanted tickets but forgot, please come to the office today or send me a quick email and I will let the PTA know.

Coats

Since the weather is a little bit chillier, students are asked to please have a coat to wear outside for recess.  Starting tomorrow, students without a coat will not be allowed to go outside for lunch recess.

Updates and Reminders…

  • Math HW is coming home today.  They only need to complete the front side of the page.  Please return by Friday.

  • 1/2 day of school on Friday.  Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

  • Picture Day is Thursday, October 18th.  The envelopes came home today.  If you are ordering pictures, you can return the completed envelope and I will hold on to it OR you can send it with your child on the 18th.

  • The Halloween Parade is scheduled for Wed. October 31st.  Please understand that being in the parade is the PBiS reward for October.  Students who have more than 6 yellows or 1 blue during the month of October will not be allowed to be in the parade.

  • Reading groups are in full swing.  Please ask your child to see their reading bag.  Even if they say they don’t have to, they can ALWAYS practice reading the book(s) in their bag.

This week in the news…

First, CONGRATS to our Students of the Month, Hadi Nasser and Noor Fawaz.  These students were chosen for their great behavior choices and responsibility in the classroom throughout the month of September 🙂    We should also congratulate all of our students who stayed on green during the whole month of September.  Our “all green” students and our Students of the Month were recognized during our PBIS assembly this morning!!

I have fallen waaaaaaay behind in posting pictures, so I’m adding a bunch below, but just a quick reminder that we have 1/2 day on Friday, October 12th.

Have a super weekend 🙂

Math HW

Everyone brought home math homework today that is due on Friday. They will need a ruler for the back of the paper.  Many students have the ruler they made in the pocket of their folder so they can use that.  If you do not have a ruler with centimeters at home, they can bring one of mine home tomorrow to use for the night.
