- Thanks to everyone who came out for McTeacher’s Night! I could not stop smiling at how excited the kids were to see us all working behind the counter – it was so cute 🙂
- So today we were scheduled to take the reading MAP test at 9:00 a.m. It was a disaster! You’re students were great, but the technology failed us…pages loaded slower than snails, many of the kids had to keep hitting F5 to get their pages to actually show up, it ended up skipping pages when they hit next, and at one point 80% of us were staring at white screens because we lost our connectivity to the internet. In the end, about 15 students got through the whole thing – we were there for an hour and 40 minutes. Not the best way to start a Monday and it obviously cut into a huge chunk of our instructional time.
- Due to the field trip on Friday and this mornings testing challenge, I am behind in my reading group schedule. I did squeeze in 3 groups today, I will try to get to everyone else tomorrow.
- The highlight of my day today??? This awesome bulletin board!! It made my heart smile 🙂
