- Spelling words for next week are: shook, soot, could, should, crook. There will be individual words also. They have a new sheet of activities to try (it’s pink). They can choose from the new sheet or the old one. Starting this week, they will need to complete 1 activity in school on Monday with me, and then 3 more at home during the week.
- Monday is our PBIS reward. Students with 6 yellows or less, no blue, no red are able to attend the Talent Show put on by the 5th graders. They are asking for $1 donation to help support the Ronald McDonald house.
- We are celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday at 9:30 with pjs-n-pancakes. If your child is doing cards, please make sure they have one for every student in our class. I sent a list of names home on Thursday, if you need another one, please let me know. I had a question about the $2 party donation, just to clarify, many of you have already sent in $10 to cover all the parties so this would not apply to you.
- With a little help from our snow days, the 100th day of school will now fall after our winter break. We don’t usually make a huge deal out of it, but each student will be asked to complete a project of 100 things and we will probably do a 100 item snack. More details will follow next week 🙂
