Homework

Everybody has 3 things tonight – that is a little bit more than I like to give, but none of it should be overwhelming.

  1. Everyone brought home a math link tonight – only 1 side this time 😉
  2. Reading bags came home.  I met with 5 groups today and gave them each a writing assignment, but I will not see them again until Friday, so they actually have 2 nights to complete it.  If I didn’t meet with your child’s group today, have them reread for fluency tonight – I will meet with them tomorrow and they will get a writing assignment to go with their book.
  3. Science:  I sent home a brown bag with a small paper attached.  Our learning goal is to be able to describe an object’s properties.  So, for homework, I asked students to choose an object from home and put it in the bag.  Then, on the paper, write 3 properties of their object.  Tomorrow we will play a game 🙂

Here’s a peek at a few students helping to lead our Math Focus board today…
