Wow!  We have been super busy this week and next week will be just as busy with Halloween!  I am waiting for information on costumes and the parade, but a note is coming home tomorrow from our homeroom mom, Mrs. Lahay, that gives more information about the party next Thursday.

Also coming home tomorrow is everyone’s first Math test.  Thank you for being so patient.  There is a score sheet attached to the front of the test that breaks down how they did on each report card skill.  Please sign this sheet so that I know you saw their test and send the paper and the test back to school on Monday.

We created pumpkin life cycles and labeled them during science this week and also wrote  facts about plants.

For writing, we are starting to write an opinion piece.  We are starting with something I figured we all have opinions about…FOOD!  Today we taste-tested some snacks and then started planning our writing, “The Best Snack!”
