In Language Arts today the students were given the opportunity to organize their interactive notebooks.  The notebooks will be checked during class time tomorrow and be worth a formative grade for first marking period.  The amount of points will be significant since many of our assignments and activities are recorded in the notebook.

The students also spent time in class reviewing for their comprehension test tomorrow.  The test will cover point of view, author’s purpose, the pyramid of action, story vocabulary, apostrophes, capitalization, and comprehension questions for Eleven and The School Play.  The students will be allowed to use the textbooks during the assessment.  I will have this grade posted by Monday.

Lastly, the students took their first vocabulary test in class today.  I will be getting these grades into the system as soon as I possibly can.  They will be posted by Monday at the latest.

Have a great evening and study hard!
