In Language Arts today the students were given the rubrics for their Folktale projects.  On Friday, students were given the opportunity to select their own texts and teammates for this project.  The students were given time to sit and plan with their other teammates to determine how they would like to organize their project. Once this was completed and they told me their plans, the students were given their folktale to read for the first time.

I will not be posting to the blog tomorrow because the students will be taking the NWEA Reading Assessment. I encourage all students to read and spend some time in the Language section of Moby Max tonight for some additional practice. One NWEA testing is completed, I will be meeting with each student individually to discuss their goals and set a new one for September.

At this point, I have graded everything I have been given.  I will be submitting grades for report cards at 2:55pm this afternoon.  Report cards will go home with students on Friday, May 8th.
