In Language Arts today, we began our discussion of genres. We talked about what a genre is and how to be general when classifying a text. We introduced the terms fiction and non-fiction. We also determined what these terms mean and how to determine which category our text fits in. We also went to the library today and prepared for our student-led conferences.
Homework: Read for 20 minutes.
