In Language Arts today the students spent time acting out scenes two, three, and four of The Prince and the Pauper. After they finished, we discussed traits of the characters we know so far.

The RACER Strategy:
- R – Restate the question to create a topic sentence.
- A – Answer the question completely.
- C – Cite evidence from the text to support your answer.
- E – elaborate/explain the evidence.
- R – restate the answer to create a closing sentence OR relate the answer to something in your own life.
We will be using the strategy to help us with our non-fiction writing for the remainder of the school year.
Many students have missing or incomplete assignments. Please be aware all late work is due THIS Friday. Remember, I will not be accepting more than three late assignments per student for the marking period.
