In Language Arts today the students continued to learn about conjunctions. They practiced identifying them with a partner as well as combining sentences using conjunctions.
The students also continued to practice analyzing a poem by reading “Message from a Caterpillar”. We also discussed the theme of the poem.
Lastly, the students were asked to read the short story, Ant and Grasshopper. Afterwards, they needed to write a CER on the theme of the story. If this was not completed by the end of class, it was assigned as homework.
Have a great evening! Don’t forget tomorrow is our first Spirit Friday to prepare for Spirit Week! Everyone needs to wear football clothing. Go 6th graders!
