Today in Language Arts the students spent time organizing their Interactive Notebooks. I will be collecting them on Monday to grade.
The students also learned about the last two types of figurative language we will be focusing on in sixth grade, allusions and idioms. I have included the example videos we watched in class to this blog post.
Lastly, the students were given a brainstorming activity page for a personal narrative we will be writing in class. The students were asked to come up with six of their greatest memories. This is NOT homework. I just wanted them to start thinking about it over the weekend. Their six topics will be due on Tuesday.
