In Language Arts today the students worked in stations. They were given time to work on assignments that were due today like Read Theory, Moby Max, and One-Pagers One and Two. They also spent time organizing their writing folders and finishing the thank you letters to people who sponsored them for Scholastic books for the year.
Students who finished early were rewarded by being given the opportunity to use the last few minutes of class for game time. They used their game time minutes Moby Max gives them for working on grammar assignments through their website to play games on Moby Max.
At this point, no students’ grade is completely up to date. Everyone looks like they have a very low grade in Language Arts but they do not. As scores get entered, the grade will improve. If you look at the amount of points an assignment is worth, check the amount of points the student received, and see no number, that means the assignment has not been graded yet. I plan to have everything graded by the end of the weekend. I will send a Remind as I complete grading.
