Today in Language Arts the students continued to learn about the history behind The Prince and the Pauper. We discussed the author of the story, Mark Twain, as well as other works he is known for. We also discussed the major characters in the story. Based on our discussion, we were able to determine that the genre of this story is historical fiction. We will be digging deeper into this idea tomorrow.
The students also continued to learn about their Greek and Latin roots by learning about the root “geo”.
Have a wonderful Wednesday! (Alliteration)
