In Language Arts today the students spent time reviewing The Jacket, which they read in class yesterday.  While reviewing, we added examples of figurative language in the story to the figurative language board.

The students were also introduced to their figurative language project. For this project, they were given several options of finding or creating figurative language.  The directions were sent home with students today. This project will be due at the end of class on Thursday.

This will be my last blog post for the week because the students will be NWEA testing tomorrow and Thursday. Friday is our school spirit day and the students will be in the gym during the half day.

Have a great evening!
