In Language Arts today we reviewed how to identify the theme in a narrative as well as what it means to write a compare and contrast essay. The students were given time to practice this writing in my class. I met with each student individually to edit the writing. The students were also given time to finish Lesson Two in their vocabulary books. With remaining class time, the students used their review of theme to identify the theme in their folktales and add it to their scrapbook pages.
Have a great weekend!
Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes
2. 90 Minutes on Moby Max Due Monday
3. Finish compare/contrast essay if it was not done by the end of class
Dear Ms. Traylor,
Donovan Ryan was in Frankenmuth this weekend. We didn’t see your email until last night. He has done some Moby Max last night and this morning. He will finish it this evening.
Thank you,
Kim Ryan
Hello,
I did notify the students before they left my classroom on Friday and he did not tell me this would be difficult for him to complete. I am taking late work until next Friday. Have a great day!
-Ms. Traylor
Thank you.
You’re welcome. I did see that he was able to finish part of it in time. His grade in my class is completely up to date and you can look at it there.
