Today in Language Arts the students were given back their pop quizzes, their Prince and the Pauper Vocabulary Test and Comprehension Test. We discussed QAR strategies from the comprehension assessment. Any student who wants to retake these assessments will have the opportunity to do so on Thursday at 7:20am. If this time does not work, the student will need to speak to me individually to set up a retake time. All retakes must be taken by Friday at 2:55pm.
The class also began our Folktale unit today. The students were introduced to the concept of a Folktale and took notes in their Interactive Notebooks. For any student that missed, I have attached the powerpoint to this blog post.
