In Language Arts the students reviewed what it means to characterize while reading.  We looked at William from All Summer in a Day a little more closely and the students were given the opportunity to revise Margot, from the story, as well.  We also began practicing identifying theme. We looked at a powerpoint on theme that I have added to this blog post.  We practiced identifying the theme in a few very short stories in the powerpoint too.
