Point of view can be a challenging thing to grasp.  For this reason, the students and I continued to look at it today.  We watched a video that helped us to review point of view.  We also created a flow chart to help us remember what to look for when trying to identify the point of view.  The students received copies of the flowchart that they glued into their interactive notebooks.  We created a study sheet in our interactive notebooks to help us remember the definitions for first person, second person, third person limited, and third person omniscient.  Once this was completed, I showed the students a point of view rap song that let them practice identifying the point of view in various examples.  I have attached the song and video to this blog post.

Homework: Reading Logs are due tomorrow.  Please make sure parents sign them tonight! 🙂
