Argumentative Essay Outline

Hello Eighth Graders, 

Remember you need to work on your outline for class on Monday. Your prompt: Which character from “The Diary of Anne Frank” changed the most over the course of the play? There is no right or wrong answer. You will be assessed by how well you can defend your argument. Your outline should look like this image. The top triangle should include your thesis statement. The first two rectangles should include your claims and your evidence. You will find page numbers for your evidence on Monday. The third rectangle should contain your counterclaim and rebuttal. The triangle at the bottom represents your conclusion and should include a restatement of your thesis.
