Parents: Students have been doing their pre-assessments for the school year, including an argumentative essay and NWEA. During their pre-assessments, we have been discussing the importance of creativity. We have done this through watching a TedTalk and reading an article.

Students: You completed reciprocal viewing notes last Friday in class about the film. This week, you are reading and annotating an article. Once the annotation is complete, you are creating banners that represent the importance of creativity. The annotation instructions and assignment are online. You should be able to log into your school email, go to Google Classroom, and complete the assignment by Monday at home. The banner is hand-drawn and will be due the same day. Assignment instructions for the banner are also on Google Classroom. If you need help remembering how to annotate online, this video may help.

If you are concerned about completing yuor assignment on time, talk to me tomorrow or email me by 8:00 pm Saturday to ask for an extension. I will not grant extensions after this time.
