My name is Ms. Megan Timpf and I am thrilled to be your Seventh/Eighth Grade English Teacher. This is my second year at O. L. Smith, my second year teaching, and I am very excited to teach and learn from all of you.
This is my family! My wonderful parents are Don and Mary. My mom is a teacher at Geer Park in Dearborn! And I have a brother, Ben, who you will repeatedly hear me call a “Creepo Kid.”I also have four pets. The two dogs are Cooper and Baxter and the cats are Catherine and Orion.Finally, I have “my girls.” I’m not a mom but I worked as a nanny through collage watching these girls. Emma is only 6 in the top right photo and Sophia is a new born in the top left. They are now 12 and 3 years old (Center). I try to spend as much time with them as possible!I was fortunate enough to perform with the Edsel Ford Theatre Department for 4 years and use to dance competitively. I also enjoyed forensics, or competitive speaking, in college. Nowadays, I spend almost all my free time playing roller derby. We are currently ranked 34th in the world and will be playing in the Women’s Flat-Track Derby Association Playoffs this year. Wish us luck!
