Spring NWEA
Hello O. L. Smith Community,
This week, your child will be taking the NWEA for the last time as an eighth grader. These tests are extremely important for assessing student growth through the school year. Please make sure your child is getting to sleep early, eating right, and coming to school ready for the day.
Spring NWEA is also a sign that the school year is coming to a close. While this is an exciting time, many teachers have noticed that students are catching a bit of “senioritis.” Please speak with your child about the importance of finishing the year strong and how the skills and concepts learned this year will influence their achievement in high school.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
