Hello Room 108 Families,
I hope you all had a great long weekend! Mine was very relaxing and it helped me feel refreshed and ready for school! I am excited to share the fun things we learned about this week!
What Did We Learn About This Week?
Our letter this week was letter S. The students practiced writing letter S with sensory beads. We talked a lot about things that start with letter S (socks, sun, sailboat, silly faces, and more!) The students wrote about these things in their writing journals.
We started learning about things that go. First, we talked about what makes things go. The students came up with ideas such as wings, wheels, the wind, and more! We took this a step further and learned about different types of transportation. We pretended to drive a car and an airplane!

Mask Up!
Families,
Please make sure you are packing your child with extra masks in their backpacks. Masks get easily dirty and/or lost. We want to make sure your child is safe and always has a mask on hand.
Masks must be worn by adults in the school when dropping off and picking up the students. This is to ensure the safety of everyone!

Fun Activity Idea
A fun activity to do over the week is play a transportation riddle game.
You can play a transportation riddle game with your child. See if they can guess the name of the type of transportation that you are describing.
I pick up your trash. Who am I?
I pick up children and bring them to school. Who am I?
Choo Choo! I am riding on the track. Who am I?
