Hello Room 108 Families,

This was a great week of school! We are learning so much and we love playing with our friends! As always, thank you again for your support to help your child have a great year in preschool. Here are some announcements and reminders…

Reminders:

If your child is going to be absent from school, you MUST text me on Remind or call the classroom (313) 827-6575 BEFORE school starts. I know we can get busy, however, this is very important.
Please send your child to school with EXTRA MASKS. We understand that masks get dirty easily and we want to make sure your child has an extra mask if they need one.
Please send your child to school with a water bottle. We do not have a drinking fountain in the classroom.
School starts at 8:15 AM and dismissal is at 3:00 PM. An adult who is at least 18 years old AND listed on their emergency card must be with your child at all times.
Blankets were sent home on Thursday. Please wash your child’s blanket and bring it to school on Monday.

Fall Festival this Thursday!

Thursday, October 28 is our Fall Festival! This is a kids-only event during the school day. We will be playing fun fall games and decorating pumpkins that your child can take home!

Fun Weekend Activity!

We started practicing cutting with scissors this week to build the students’ fine motor skills. This weekend, I encourage you to find some junk mail or magazines and have your child practice cutting them!
