Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers of Room 108! I hope your weekend is full of joy and family! Here are some suggested activities you can do with your child this weekend:
Write a Mother’s Day Card
Engage in a fun art activity by making Mother’s Day cards! Your child can write cards for their mother and grandmothers. Here is a message they can write on their cards:

You can also encourage your child to sign/write their name at the bottom of their cards.
Storyline Online
Take time to read some books this weekend. Storyline Online has wonderful books with amazing illustrations your child will enjoy. Click here to visit Storyline Online.
Do an Indoor or Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Here are two scavenger hunts your child can do inside or outside:

Take a Virtual Field Trip to a Fire Station
Work Time
I encourage your child to engage in play without electronics for at least 60 minutes a day using the Plan, Work Time, and Recall process.
Go Outside!
We may be seeing cooler weather this weekend. If you are able to go outside, I encourage you to play for 60 minutes a day. If you are unable to go outside, check out these fun ideas:
