My name is Adrianne Tatta and this will be my 21st year of teaching.  I have taught grades 1-5, but this is my third year teaching 5th grade.    I’m not married and don’t have kids of my own, but your kids are my kids and I will do everything I can to make sure they have a successful year!

I graduated from EMU with a science background, so you will probably see me in a lab coat & glasses during science lessons (I LOVE Science!!)  I have two dogs, Herman and Mimi, and one older sister, which your child will share stories about them.  Also, I’m very lucky because both of my parents are still alive and live nearby.  I grew up near Nowlin, and I always try to get parents involved…even my own! So your child might come home telling you that they met Mr. or Mrs. Tatta! 

I have an open-door policy and I am happy to meet with you anytime, but please remember that the start and end of the day are the craziest and I want to be able to give you and your children my full attention.  So please feel free to email me (I always check it) and I will write back within 24 hours.  You can also text me on the Class Dojo app.  That’s the fastest way to get ahold of me.  Instructions on how to to do these are in the “How to Reach Me” tab.  If we work together as a team, then your child will have a great year.

I’m very excited to be your child’s teacher and I hope to get to know all of you, and work with you, as the school year progresses!
