No school on Friday August 30th or Monday September 2nd. School will resume on Tuesday September 3rd. September 3rd is also the first early day at 1:50. School is dismissed at 1:50 every Tuesday.

Attached is a copy of the district calendar in English and Arabic. This calendar will also be sent home with son/daughter.

The first day of school is Wednesday Monday August 26th and it’s a half day. School will be dismissed at 11:30. Open House is on Friday August 23rd 12:00-1:30. Open House is an opportunity for you to come chat with me and see the classroom. You can also meet the classroom paras Souad and Lisa during open house. On the first day of school please send in diapers, feeding supplies, and an extra set of clothes to keep in your son/daughters locker. If clothing comes home in their backpack that needs to be laundered please send in a new set of clothes the following school day. During the school year if you are picking your son/daughter up early or dropping them off late please let me know so they they can be ready and to make sure we are not out in the community, but of course if we are out in the community you are still welcomed to drop them off at school. Please check their folders daily. Text is the best way to get in contact with me, but you can email me too (I will send my email address privately). If you haven’t already please sign up to receive notifications for my iBlog. I love to print pictures and post them on my wall. So, if your/son daughter does anything cool or fun over the weekend or breaks please send them to me. I look forward to having your son/daughter in my class this school year.

Reminder, Wednesday June 24th is the last day for summer school. أهلاً! تذكير: الأربعاء 24 يونيو هو آخر أيام الدراسة الصيفية.

Hello! Reminder summer school starts this Wednesday June 12th. If your son/dauhgter is not in my class during the school year please remember to send in an extra set of clothes in case they have an accident and diapers too. I am attaching the dates that summer school in in session. The hours are 8:00-2:30.

The bus leaves at 9:00 for field day at Edsel Ford, so it would be greatly appreciated if you feed your son/daughter at home in the morning. Thank you.
