Parents, this week we will be continuing with the levels of organizations. We will also be doing class presentations “all about me.” We started some, but didn’t finish them yet.
Science week of 9/30/13
Parents, this week we be continuing with chapter one from the environmental science text book. We will also be doing work with information that students obtained from a nature walk around the school.
Quiz this week: Wednesday/Thursday: Abiotic and a biotic and examples of each.
Language Arts week of 9/30/13
Hello parents this week students will be working on writing another personal narrative and character traits. The students will also be comparing and contrasting two separat text.

Focus card, tardy cards, and planner reminders
Remember to check your child’s Focus and Tardy cards. It is important that you check these cards on a regular basis.
Remember to check their planners daily.
Language Arts: week of 9/23/13
This week will we will continue to revise and edit personal narratives about courage and make all about me posters. The personal narratives that have not been revised is homework. The narratives will be on display for open house.
Science: week of 9/23/13
This week students will be having a scavenger hunt planner quiz. Some of the classes took the quiz last week. We are continuing with “getting to know you” presentations. We are continuing on chapter one in the text book.
Language Arts: Week of 9/16/13
This week we are working on practicing on the MEAP. MEAP testing is next month 10-8 through 10-11 and 10-21 through 10-23. We are also working on writing a personal narrative.
Science: Week of 9/16/13
This werk we will start doing work out of our text book. Ww begin with chapter 1 “Interactions of Living Things” section 1.

In science we have been working on getting to know you activities and we discussed school rules, classroom rules, and school expectations.
