Number System: We are working on finding equivalent expressions using the GCF and distributive property. Today’s SLOT quizzes are much improved! Tomorrow will be the final quiz.
Geometry: We worked in groups to find area for parallelograms and trapezoids using decomposing into other polygons such as triangles and rectangles. We then took notes in our ISN on using the formula. Our homework is to practice both methods on the practice page given (see homework attachments page).
We have a shoe drive to collect as many pairs of gently used shoes to give to charity. Please bring in as many as possible to your advisory teacher tomorrow!
