The district says I have to give a summative grade to my students for last summer’s Khan Academy work. 480 non video minutes to get an A…. Khan has changed their algorithm as far as showing minutes goes. Students don’t have as many minutes as they thought they did. Khan is not counting any time between questions, looking around for topics, etc. Basically it’s harder to earn the minutes. So…. I’ve decided to extend the Summer Khan time to January 14. I will be updating students in class as to how many minutes they have. The time period is from June 1 2019 to January 14 2020. On January 15 I will be entering a summative grade for each student.

Anyone that scored under 80% on the Unit 1 exam can do corrections to earn points back. Students need to come see Mr. Suni before school or after school to do the corrections. They will be done in the room. Tests will not be sent home.

We will start it on Thursday, November 21.

We will do some review on Wednesday. Students should go over all of their old quizzes, lesson book pages, as well as the review assignment to study.

Hours 1,2: Finish problems 1-10 on back of assignment # 9.

Quiz on Lesson 7 Tuesday/Wednesday.
