ch. 25–Empathy and a tragic death!

ch 26–Hypocrisy at school: Scout’s confusion and Jem’s outrage!

 

We will be wrapping up the book and watching the film next week to review/prepare for the Unit Test.  Look for a review sheet next week.

The test is scheduled for Monday, May 8th and it WILL be included for the marking period. If you are absent, you will make it up the next day DURING class so that it can be graded before the Tuesday deadline for grades.

-Atticus focuses on two MAIN points

Students should be done reading through chapter 14 for tomorrow.  We will be working on the skill of making inferences from passages in chapters 12-14.

 

Writer’s Notebook Prompts will be evaluated for growth based on goals this week, so there will NOT be a new AOW posted until next week.

If you missed a prompt, please stop by during lunch or come after school on Thursday to make up missing writing prompts.

Monday is the quiz on Ch. 1-12.  Since the passage analysis for the District CCR is from the novel, I will NOT add a longer passage to the quiz.
