Second graders will be going on a field trip to the Detroit Science Center!

When: Friday, February 26, 2016.  The cost is $12.00 per student.  Field trip money is due on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.  See note for details.

Students may bring a wrapped treat and valentine cards to share with their 24 classmates for Thursday, February 11, 2016.  Students will pass out cards and treats from 2:00-3:00.   See note for details.

January PBIS celebration will be on Friday.  The theme is games.  Students may bring a board or electronic game on Friday.  A note explaining January PBIS celebration will be sent home on Monday.

NWEA  math test – Students will take the math NWEA Math test on Monday.

Ways to help your child be prepared:

Make sure they get a good night’s rest.

Eat breakfast

Pack a healthy snack

Do some NWEA math and reading practice on the school web site.

Our winter celebration will be on Friday, December 18th from1:00-3:00.  The students will be making their own ice cream sundae, making a craft and playing math bingo.  Parents are always welcome.  If you would like to contribute to our celebration, please contact our room mothers.
