A note for a meeting for second grade parents interested in helping with the end of the year picnic will be going home this week. Please come and help us plan our end of the year celebration!

Test on Friday
The second graders will be taking the Reading NWEA test on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons this week. Please make sure the children plenty of sleep and a good breakfast on those days and please send them with a healthy snack to eat after the test. It also helps if the children are practicing everyday as part of their homework on the district website for the NWEA math and reading tests. Practice makes Progress!
Thank you to all parents who came with the second graders to the Detroit Zoo. A fun time was had by all as we learned all about the animals and their habitats.

The second graders will be visiting the DIA exhibit being brought to Haigh school on Monday during art and having the chance to paint their own mural with their class. Make sure they dress for painting! Way to go second grade owls for making wise choices during the month of April!
The second graders will be going to the Detroit Zoo on Thursday, April 28th. The Trip will be from 9:00-2:00. Please send the students with a bag lunch (no glass bottles). And make sure they dress for the weather, Rain or shine!
