We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Friday, February 17th. I will be providing many 100 activities throughout the morning. I would like each student to bring a collection of 100 items. (possible ideas: Fruit Loops, dried beans, stickers, M&M’s, pennies, cotton balls, buttons, etc.) Students need to display their items on the poster board I am sending home. Group the items into tens as you glue them to the board. Please have your child bring their display to school on or before February 17th. Thank you for your cooperation! The students will be writing about their collections, so be creative! Thank you!
We will be having a Valentine celebration on Tuesday, February 14th, in the afternoon. Your child may bring a wrapped treat to share and Valentine cards for their 27 classmates. (a list of classmates will be sent home with note).

Please make sure students are logging on the student NWEA site on the district web page for practice as part of their homework everyday. Also make sure students get a good night’s rest the day before and they eat a healthy breakfast so they can do their best. As always thank-you for your support!
