The Second and Third graders will be performing their concert on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Bryant Middle School.  Please bring your student to the band room at 6:15. so they may have time to line up to go on stage.  I know you will enjoy the concert.  The students have been working very hard and can’t wait to perform for you!

Spelling Test on Thursday this week because of the short week.

March is reading month and Haigh School’s  theme is “Paws” and Read A Good Book!  The students will be going home with a March calendar of fun activities to promote reading everyday along with a reading log to help keep track of their minutes.  We will be visiting the book fair on Tuesday morning.  The students will have a chance to buy a books written by their favorite authors!

Our class will begin NWEA testing on Tuesday this week.  Please make sure students get plenty of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast so they can do their best.

Second grade NWEA Testing will start next week.  I will let you know in advance when our scheduled day and time will be for both math and reading so the children get a good night’s rest and eat a healthy breakfast before taking the test.  Please make sure the children are practicing everyday.  If the reading NWEA practice is not working, prepdog is another good practice site.
