Another Short Wintry Week of Learning!

I hope everyone enjoyed their mid-winter break. This week we continue to follow our Safe Start To School Plan ( See Superintendent’s letter to the community for more details.) On Tuesday, February 16 the district has made this an asynchronous day in the AM for all students and Duty Day for teachers in the PM. The students will be completing assignments from their weekly Benchmark Packet independently on that day. Wednesday, February 17 Students are back to their virtual zoom schedule in the morning and afternoon. On Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 students zoom in the morning and begin in person learning labs in the afternoon depending on the day their learning lab group meets. You will be notified of the day and time.
Schedule For This Week

Epic Books
Over 3357 books have been read on Epic books by my students since we began school! This has totaled over 404 hours of reading! I am so proud of my students! Remember, if you want to read into the evening (after 4:00pm) on Epic books you need to respond to the email invite that I sent to you. This will allow you to read a selection of books for free in the evening. Epic books is usually only free during school hours. Let me know if you need me to resend the invitation to you. Yousef Alsaray is our Top Reader of the Week! Congratulations! Great job! Keep on reading!
Zearn
Make sure you are logging into Zearn and keeping up with your math practice. Ryan Khazendar is our Top Mathematician of the Week! Congratulations!
