STC Willa Johnston Memorial Theater Scholarship $$$$

Great opportunity for students looking to take part in the Summer Youth Theatre Program at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. We will be putting on Disney’s Beauty & the Beast. Below are the qualifications for the scholarship:

The Willa Johnston Memorial Theater Scholarship will be awarded to students who:

 

  • Demonstrate a love of theater
  • Show leadership and commitment
  • Are kind, welcoming and accepting of others
  • Reuse their water bottles and recycle them when they are no longer useful

 

Students who are interested in applying should submit an essay explaining how they embody these qualities, and how they will continue to do so in the future.

Essays should be submitted to Mrs. Cronin on or before June 16th to be considered for the 2017 summer theater program.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a friendly reminder that Stout Theater Company’s First Annual Junior Tony Awards will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, May 23rd, in the Stout Middle School Auditorium! The program will commence at 4:00pm!

                                     5:00-6:30 Dress rehearsal on stage at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.All instrument cases and coats can be kept in the ballroom.

6:30-7:00 Pizza in the Ballroom, compliments of the Dearborn Community Fund.

Everyone must contribute. Please bring in enough to feed about 10-15 people!
